Welcome to Lesbian Sex Tips, the community designed specifically for women to feel comfortable asking their most embarrassing questions about lesbian sex, as well as offer their own advice and wisdom to others in need.
Lesbians, bisexual women and anyone female-bodied or full-time female-identified who has sex with women (i.e. lesbian/bisexual transwomen and straight/bisexual transmen) are more than welcome here. So pull up a couch, have some coffee, and get good and comfortable... let's talk some sex. =)

gay_sex_tips, due to discomfort with its mostly male following. Nothing wrong with that, mind you, but we just felt lesbians should have a space of their own.
This community is intended to be a safe place for all members, free of judgement or abuse. For this reason, I have to enforce certain simple, common-sense regulations.
We hope this community can be helpful and informative to all!
If your question does not concern lesbian sex, you might want to trysuckitupdyke for general advice, or vaginapagina for questions about women's health. A great website for information on safer sex and sex ed (not specifically aimed at lesbians, but queer-friendly) is Scarleteen.

Community Guidelines
1.) Abuse/harassment of other members will NOT be tolerated under any circumstances. If you have beef with somebody, take it out of the community. This is not the place for it. In general, the mods don't need to take action about casually phobic remarks because the members of this commmunity are pretty good at ripping it apart themselves. Hell hath no fury - you have been warned!
2.) Immaturity will not be accepted, either. I expect everybody here to act like adults, no matter what their age is. "Respect" is the keyword here. This may include being respectful of people whose experiences are different from yours. All women are welcome here.
3.) Off-topic posts will be deleted, no questions asked. Please do not make a "Hi, I'm new to this community" post unless it has an on-topic (regarding lesbian sexual matters) question or comment along with it. This is not the place to hang-out; this is the place to have specific issues addressed. If you would like just a freindly group of lesbians to commune with, then I recommend
4.) NO PORN or EROTICA! I can't stress that enough. Due to the sensitive nature of this community, I must be careful not to infringe on LiveJournal's rules and Terms of Service. Not to mention that is NOT the purpose of this community. This includes images and text.
5.) NO community promos. This is not the place for them.
6.) If you are still unsure after reading these guidelines if your post is acceptable and on-topic, then here's what you should do: A good rule of thumb is to ask yourself before posting: "Does this post either ask for and/or offer solid advice regarding sexual interaction between two women?" If the answer is no, the it doesn't belong here. Plain and simple. =)
7.) Your mods arelysimache and
zoeimogen. Please contact them if you feel anything should be addressed!
8.) We have had trouble in the past in this community - if your journal is empty or relatively new with few posts or few substantial (Writers block/memes are not substantial!) visible posts, membership is unlikely to be approved. If it's not obvious how you fit into the above categories, (e.g. a community-only journal, stealth non-op transman or so butch dyke you might get mistaken by the mods for natal male from your LJ, please drop the mods a PM when you apply for membership.
